Trace Request
Number Access operates telecommunications infrastructure for carriers and communications service providers. We do not provide retail subscriber services or generally maintain the subscriber account records of our carrier customers. Authorized law enforcement representatives may use the form below to request network-level trace or routing assistance involving Number Access infrastructure.
Preparing Your Request
Please include your agency and official contact information, relevant telephone numbers or other identifiers, communication type, applicable dates and times including time zones, and the nature and legal basis of your request. Information about the communication and its known routing may help us evaluate what records or technical assistance are available.
Exigent Trace Requests: For an emergency or exigent request requiring immediate attention, select “Exigent” on the form. This designation prioritizes review; it does not guarantee a particular response time, outcome, or disclosure. Exigent requests must involve circumstances presenting an imminent threat to life or serious bodily injury. Selecting this option does not waive applicable legal requirements or guarantee expedited disclosure.
Supporting Legal Documentation: The form includes an optional upload field for subpoenas, warrants, court orders, exigent request letters, or other supporting documentation. Provide sensitive information only when the form and transmission method are appropriate.
Assistance and any disclosure are subject to applicable law, available records, and technical capabilities. For subscriber identity or account records, requests should ordinarily be directed to the provider serving the end subscriber.
